POLICE are searching for a man in connection with a fake bank note incident.

At 6pm yesterday (28th January), an unknown male of asian appearance attempted to exchange £500 of fake bank notes at a pub in Monmouth town.

He is described as slim, dark skinned, 5’8" wearing a dark jacket and dark denim jeans.
