POLICE in Monmouthshire are appealing for information following a number of burglaries over the weekend in Monmouth.

During some of these burglaries, cars, specifically Audis, have been stolen in the burglaries taking place in Monmouth.

A burglary occurred at Cornpoppy Avenue in Monmouth sometime between 4.30pm and 10.50pm on Friday 12th February. During this burglary a white Audi A4 was stolen. Anyone with any information should call 101 quoting log 543 12/02/16.

A burglary in Highfield Road, Monmouth occurred sometime between 2.20pm and 8.00pm on Saturday 13th February. A TV, oil radiator and a grey Audi A6 estate were stolen. Anyone with information should call 101 quoting log 402 13/02/16.

A laptop and mobile phone were stolen in a burglary in Incline Road, Redbrook.

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting log 188 12/02/16.

There were two burglaries in Wyesham Avenue, Monmouth on 13th and 14th February. Cash was stolen at the one incident on Saturday 13th. Quote log 382 13/02/16. At the other burglary in Wyesham Avenue on Sunday 14th, nothing was stolen. Anyone with information should call 101 quoting 153 14/02/16.

Police are encouraging residents to ensure that homes are secure at all times and to keep car keys in a secure and creative place.
