A MAN who died after an industrial incident near Monmouth has been named.

65-year-old David Llewellyn from the Tredegar area died in an industrial incident at a property on Manson Lane, just outside Monmouth, last Wednesday (25th May).

It has been reported locally that Mr Llewellyn fell from scaffolding at the site.

Rapid response cars, an emergency ambulance and two Wales Air Ambulances were sent to the scene shortly after 12.30pm, along with police officers and the fire service, but Mr Llewellyn was pronounced dead at the scene.

A joint investigation between Gwent Police and the Health and Safety Executive is ongoing.
