A man has died in a crash between a car and a lorry in Magor on Wednesday morning.

23-year-old Coran Bogue, who died at the scene is from the from the Newport area.

Mr Bogue was the only occupant of the car involved in the incident which occurred on the A4810 Llanwern link road near the Magor Brewery.A Gwent Police spokesperson said: "On Wednesday 22nd February at around 5.49am, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the A4810 Llanwern link road, near the Magor Brewery. "The incident involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry."The driver of the car sadly died at the scene. He can now be named as 23 year old Coran Bogue from the Newport area. "Specialist officers are supporting his family at this difficult time."Anyone with information relating to the collision is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 46 22/2/17."
