POLICE are searching for two women in connection with the theft of an elderly lady’s purse in Monmouth.

The incident took place in Greggs in Monmouth on Wednesday 28th December.

A spokesperson from Gwent Police said officers are hoping to speak to the two women pictured in connection with the incident.

They said: “We would like to speak with them in connection with the theft of an elderly lady’s purse.

“If anyone has any information, please call 101 quoting log 95 28/12/16.”
