A BODY has been found in the search for missing Chepstow man Lee Searle.

Officers looking for the 44-year-old, who had gone missing from the Chepstow area, found a body near Mr Searle's home address yesterday afternoon (22nd August).

Mr Searle was last seen at 5pm on Monday (21st August) in Sedbury, and police appealed for help locating him.

Formal identification has not yet taken place but Lee's next of kin and the coroner have been informed.

Enquiries are currently continuing into the death.
