AN APPEAL for information has been launched after an assault in Chepstow in the early hours of Sunday morning left a man with serious injuries.

The assault along Mount Pleasant Road, near to the junction of Bulwark Road in Chepstow, happened on Sunday 30th October sometime between 1.30am and 2.30am.

The male victim was approached by two males who then assaulted him leaving him with serious injuries.

Two local men have been arrested on suspicious of assault and have bailed until 17th February 2017.
